DOG FACE

May 21st, 2013

We are getting to completion of my Ward 7 installation at the The Royal London Children’s hospital and the the young patients are pointing out faces they can see in the artworks. I love this thought especially when it was not intentional but something I might develop in another project.

LIFE IS LIKE RIDING A BICYCLE. TO KEEP YOUR BALANCE YOU MUST KEEP MOVING. ALBERT EINSTEIN

May 19th, 2013

Yesterday was the last day of the Movement Cafe and I went to have a last look, I always knew it was a temporary structure but it had felt that the cafe had taken root and until I arrived I had no idea how I would feel about it going and I have to admit I felt very sad and did not want to say goodbye to it. But it was lovely to listened all the stories about the cafe and how people have such affection for it and how it brightens their lives and how they feel they will miss it and don’t want it to go. Here are my last photos before it is dismantled. But all is not lost, many parts of the cafe are going to be reused in different projects so it is moving on…..

GRAND FINALE — THE HIGHLINERS — AUTHENTICITY!

May 4th, 2013

My dream came true today, I shared the stage with The Highliners, (Luke centre stage) at the ‘Authenticity’ Point Conference. Thank you to all at Point, especially Robin Richmond for trusting us to try our experiment. The Highliners (Luke, Ginger, Doyley & Andy) were brilliant!

MILTON GLASER IN HOXTON TODAY

May 4th, 2013

Point Conference had made a great film with Milton Glaser and he talks about the Brooklyn Brewery and I had never seen it before. Then today I walk down the road with Lemmy the dog and saw this in a window of a bar. Everyday I go by I will think of Milton.

PASS IT ON AT THE TATE

April 30th, 2013

Our workshop ‘Pass it on’ went really well at the Hyperlink Festival, Tate on Saturday. We had over 1200 people through the door and over 300 pieces of work created.

Lizzie is holding the first list of words and colours past on to the first person and this is the result.

Luke took a whole series of pictures of the work, we are putting them together and sending them to the Tate so as soon as we know where they will be shown we will post it up on this site.

Morag and Lizzie at the end of the day. All photography by Luke Morgan.
