A little snippet of my chair collection. It is my obsession and I wanted to record why I have/bought each chair and so I asked Kingston Curating the Contemporary Course to help me. Peter Collard and Melissa Destino kindly agreed to be involved and we sat down and I was interviewed. I generally just buy chairs because I like them so I thought it would be an interesting exercise to see if we could identify as many of them as possible. So Pete and Melissa did the investigating but for the purposes of the interview they did not reveal their findings to me so I did not consider my chairs in a different way before I was interviewed.

I was asked only about 3.5 weeks ago, by the MA students at LCC to curate and design their MA Show. I met up with the student reps from each course over the last few weeks and they were great, they collected all their colleagues work and worked really hard together so we could make an exhibition that mixed up all the work up and moved away from the section of wall per student approach to the exhibition. This was totally about making a joint show.
