Vilma went up to the NEC, Birmingham to take some pics of our B&B. The group of three B&B’s commissioned by Designersblock, consisted of me and Luke, Donna Wilson and at the far end House of Hackney. A huge thank you to MTA Digital for doing such a great job of printing our room.

For the last five months we have devoted our studio to working on the New Design Museum Permanent exhibition. We have a great team, me and Luke, Richard Greenwood, Jake Moulson, Zoe Papadopoulou, Robbie Belmore and growing.
Model
After a very long day wallpapering and assembling our Bed & Breakfast was finished and we were in time to catch our 6pm train, one of the first times ever. (our room just looks like the model!). Designersblock have made a great ‘Design Village’ and it is worth going to Interiors UK, NEC Birmingham to see a whole load of new products and our bedroom of course.
Luke and Vilma has been up in Birmingham getting our B&B sorted. I had to stay in London to do a presentation. But up there tomorrow, should be fun!
We are building our Bed and Breakfast Room for Designersblock at the Interiors UK 2012 show. It opens on Sunday so as usual loads to do.
Our first full set of ‘Non Sense’ stools & benches are completed and being used in Selfridges WORDS WORDS WORDS Library. The fantastic ‘It’s Nice That’ guys put our work forward for this project and we would like to thank them.
Morag & Luke’s hand-cut stencils for a collection of stools ‘Non Sense’ in Selfridges now — as part of their ‘Words Words Words’ installation. We are just putting the finishing touches to 26 stools/ benches going in the Ultralounge on Thursday.
We had a long wall in LCC Typo Caff and all the letters lovingly painted from the summer shows, so why not reuse. We had limited selection of letters so played around with different words and finally settled on ‘WORD BANDIT’.
